Whose Brain Is It Anyway?

There are underlying rules of etiquette for almost everything. As soon as a new system appears on scene, you can be certain a new set of rules will show up to pass as good decorum.

If Emily Post were alive today we would be receiving instruction around not answering cell phones in the middle of dinner or be reminded of the impropriety of typing all in capital letters as this may be misconstrued as “yelling” in an e-mail.

AIM-ing at the Invisible

I posted the following tweet this morning: “What is it to be spiritual? Regardless of the brand, it’s simply a belief in the good which cannot be seen.”

Because that is really what it all comes down to: whether one’s beliefs are centered in traditional Christianity or Eastern mysticism, New Age thought or Islam - the core of it is “a belief in good which cannot be seen".
