Description of your products and services

Designs by Rebecca, llc. is a small design consultation firm specializing in residential interiors. We help ease the client’s mind when building or remodeling, listening to their needs and wants, then assessing their home to provide the best design solution possible. We can either use existing furnishings or purchase new, depending on the client’s situation. We specify everything from architectural plans through to the accessories and will be there for our clients to schedule and direct all of the subcontractors so they don’t have the additional stress during the completion of the project. In addition to the design work, we will also stage a home for sale to help the client sell quicker and obtain a greater selling price. Some specific areas that we cover are flooring, wall covering, furniture, lighting, color schemes, window treatments, and accessories. We are CAPTIVATING INTERIORS one home at a time!

Before picture of living room. The room feels out of balance with all of the upholstery on one side of the room, the 'scarf' above the fireplace is out of proportion to the photos on the fireplace, and the photos also seem very plain being all the same height and basically the same size.

Before picture of dining room. Please notice size of artwork and lack of color.

After picture of living room. Here I used the clients existing furniture to dramatically change the look of the room. I used some of the clients accessories and others were purchased. New, softer wall color adds to more of an ambiance. The furniture is more balanced with moving one chair to the other side of the fireplace and the casegood piece that was there is now just to the right of where the picture ends. Little adjustments were made like rotating the orientation of the rug and focusing more on the fireplace with the accessories and adding smaller touches to each side. This also provides a more peaceful feel and not a feeling of competition. New color on the drapery along with complementing decorative pillows finishes the room.

After picture of dining room. Items in the china cabinet were rearranged for a more plesant and organized look and a new floral centerpiece adds a stunning detail.
