Recording the Sacred Fire CD (while still operating a frame shop and fine art gallery) served as a catalyst for a personal metamorphosis. As a result I can now understand that it is our passionate choices that define who we are and what we can possibly become.

That is, in fact what passionate choices do...

I believe that in business as in life that those choices offer the best way to display our integrity, dedication, committment, and service -- all tenants of good business.

My purpose these days is to be a living example, inspiration and teacher to help others in the selection of their own passionate choices, regardless of age or circumstances, for the experience of a rich and fulfilling life. My vehicle is of course being primarily music and music performance, but also radio, speaking (and soon) a book release.

I am available for performance (either solo or with a band), speaking, and very soon booksignings and the hosting of "Sacred Fire" workshops.

Our possibilities are limitless...all we have to do is see them.

The Space In Between

I recently retold the story of my “Wiley Coyote moment” that occurred while swimming with my son some years ago on a family vacation.  Largely due to my parents own inability to swim, minimal formal instruction and a near drowning experience as a youth, my aquatic skills left a lot to be desired.  Even while trying to gain some degree of mastery in this environment, I would tend to stay towards the end of the pool where my feet could touch bottom.

Knowing full well of course: that…

The Shelf Life of Bullies

Recently, I produced a newsletter that referenced my high school experience with bullying. I have reprinted it again at the end of this post. If you read it you will see that the focus was to be kept on the light side. I am after all a personal development coach who uses music in the delivery of her message, so “up beat” is what I strive for. But I have since come to an all important conclusion:

The reason for…

Part 1 : What is Sacred Fire? : More than Just a Brand

Branding is something that has become a bit of a buzz word in the business community. Look it up online and you’ll get as many definitions for it as you will Google entries relating to its importance.

In spite of the many and varied descriptions, most people get what branding is, just as they “get” the meaning behind the brand itself - that is if the branding was…

An Artist By Any Other Name...Is Still Authentic

True to my belief that we are always evolving, I am no exception. After 14 years I am retiring my stage name of Adrianna Larkin. The name that once offered a protective anonymity while performing music in clubs and raising a young son as a single parent, is no longer needed.

It was not a decision that was made lightly. I gave it a lot of thought. Although I would not be the first artist to take on (or take back) a different name, reverting to my real name of Nancy Herold had to be…
