Growing Business Together

If you wish to have PIB outreach into St. Louis, please answer with your preferred locations such as University City, downtown, Clayton, Northside etc.  Please suggest a restaurant or location where we will have easily accessible parking if you know of a nice option.  Also. please suggest day and time.  Thanks! Sue

I attended my first PIB this am and look forward to more. I am interested in an airport area location. And I am interested in moderating.
Hello Mike, That sounds great! Please call some of the coordinators to ask their suggestions for how to run a group. They probably have some hints for you. Also, please keep in touch with me. I am very busy with tax season right now.

My suggestion is that you start with one or two friends in order to establish your first meeting. This is a great way to start without any risk. Then ask them their ideas for a perfect location. Next time, each of them should be able to invite a friend or two. The forms you need are all on the website under "Forms" tab.

I am planning a new group in Clayton starting April 9 at 9 a.m. It is nice to start earlier, but traffic is always an issue in STL.

Please let me know your questions. Thank you SO much for your interest. Please try to attend our group in Edwardsville on 2/23. I would like to meet you. Have a great day! Sue
I have it on my calendar and look forward to meeting you then.
Susan:

I am new to PIB and trying to learn more about the organization. I started a chapter and spent 10 years in BNI. Got a little burned out with their process, so I "retired" last fall. My office is in Sunset Hills and I would like to start a business networking group in the Sunset Hills/Kirkwood area.

I am a member of the local chamber and know of several others that are disillusioned with BNI. I also live in Illinois (Waterloo), so morning meetings are hard to make after dropping kids at school. My goal is to start a new group with an afternoon meeting time, 4-4:30, share business ideas and help grow each others business'.
Hello Jack:
I am also new to PIB, at the suggestion of a business acquaitance. Meetings in the Kirkwood area would be a very good thing. Thanks for bringing it up.

I wouldn't mind attending in North County. There is a cafe in Ferguson that has meeting rooms. .

Corner Coffee House
(Free Wifi Coffeeshop / Cafe)
100 N Florissant Rd
Ferguson, MO 63135
(314) 521-4600

Just a thought.
I would be very interested in attending, and the area really does not matter to me accept for the drive time to get there from Edwardsville.
Good Morning all:

I'm still interested in the potential for a Kirkwood area group. There are many fine professionals in this area who can benefit from the opinion and experiences of others.
I am happy to open my home to those interested in discussing. Coffee's on me. Please reply. Keith

I'd also be interested in a Kirkwood or surrounding area for an afternoon meeting. I wouldn't be all that comfortable meeting in someone's home though. I think there would be plenty of places we all could meet to network and work together to assist each other in increasing our businesses. BNI was a great idea for its' time but the cost, meeting times, and restrictions are detrimental to most us. I myself enjoy the Networking on Steroids group and would like to see more groups to work with.

Hello Albert:

Thanks for your reply. Let's do what we can to get something started in this part of the world. My thought in opening my home was for initial discussion. We can meet at Einsteins, Kaldis, wherever. I can say from experience that almost any location will have better coffee than what I make.

I'm open late afternoon 10-28 and 11-3. You pick the spot, and we can send an email out to those with interest. Keith
