Basic Computer Class at Waterloo Library-FREE

Monica Wessel of Monica’s Digital Services is doing Basic Computer classes for Morrison-Talbott Library on June 14 and July 26 at 1 p.m. free of charge.

Monica did a series of classes last fall on computer use at the library that were well received by patrons who were beginners to the world of the web.  Monica has an MBA with an emphasis in Technology Management and 20 years of experience in the Industrial Engineering field.

Do you want to start using a computer so you can access the Internet?  Do you already use a computer but would like to learn more about the programs you are already using?  Sign up for the basic computer classes and on the sign in sheet mark the areas you are interest in learning about:  Facebook, e-Bay & Craigslist, e-mail, searching on Google, Yahoo & Bing, YouTube or Skype.

The library has a great DVD series geared towards first time computer users to help you with your basic computer skills, internet use and e-mail.  Check them out when you come for Monica’s classes.
